Sausage Roll Saved My Arm

Just read in the free daily newspaper Metro (1 Oct 08) about a Mr Stirling (59), of Peacehaven in East Sussex, who slipped while cutting branches in a tree and lopped his arm off. Luckily for him his neighbour dialled 999, found the arm and put it into a bag of frozen sausage rolls. The hospital staff managed to reattach the arm and Mr Stirling is doing well. Mr Stirling is a lucky guy, but the healing process will take years and I’m no doubt he will leave tree pruning to professional tree care firms from now on.This incident has inspired me to give out free tree cutting advice. So, if you have a tree that needs pruning, but not sure where to start, give me a call on 0796 102 0988 and I’ll give you some straight talking advice on safety and equipment.
